Switch Kit - Use this easy step by step guide to switch your checking account to Vantage West.
Order checks online- No need to drive to a branch, or even pick up a phone. Order them online!
Relationship Benefits Program- Earn higher dividends on savings and lower rates on loans when you use Vantage West for more of your financial service needs.
Overdraft Protection - Avoid the embarrassment and expense of returned checks or the inconvenience of denied card transactions. Use your Regular Share Accounts, Visa Line of Credit, Line of Credit, Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC Visa) or Student Visa for overdraft protection. If sufficient funds are still not available, Discretionary Overdraft Privilege may be accessed.
Discretionary Overdraft Privilege - A solution to eliminate the embarrassment of having a check returned and avoid the additional merchant costs for returned checks. It is added to eligible ValuFirst and Premium Checking Accounts in good standing 30 days after the account opening date.
Safe Deposit Boxes help Keep Those Valuables Safe! - Safe deposit boxes are available for annual rental at six of our branch locations- Craycroft, Southwest, Wilmot, University, Marana (at AZ Pavilions) and Rita Ranch. For safe deposit box sizes and availability at the branch closest to you, please contact us prior to your visit.
American Express Gift Cards - are available for sale in all Vantage West branches. These gift cards are available in denominations of $25, $50, $100, $200 and $500, but supplies are limited, and may vary by branch. To ensure gift cards are available in the denomination you are looking for, please call us before you come. There is a $3.95 fee per card.

eStatements are available for you to retrieve online as soon as they are ready, so your account information is available sooner than if you had to wait to receive it through regular mail.

All eStatements are protected by 128-byt encryption technology. We do not send your actual eStatement through email. Instead, you will receive a notification that your eStatement is available. Your eStatement can only be accessed with your unique login information.

Once your eStatements begin, your paper statements will stop, minimizing your exposure to mail fraud and identity theft.

Direct Deposit - Electronically deposit your paycheck, benefit check or other payment directly into your account. Doing so may even earn you discounts on your loan rate or higher savings dividends! Here's the information you will need:

Your Account # and Your Share ID: See your statement for these numbers.
Place enough zeros in front of your Account # followed by your Share ID to make a total of ten numbers.
Here's an example:

ATM and Visa Checking Card fraud blocks added for your protection
At Vantage West Credit Union, we are committed to protecting your accounts from any type of fraudulent activity. In order to do this, we may, from time to time, need to block plastic card transactions originating outside the United States.
At this time, the following transactions are blocked in countries where fraud has been identified:
ATM /Access Cards:
All ATM Access card transactions completed with a Personal Identification Number (PIN) have been blocked with the STAR and PLUS networks in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Canada, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Philippines, Romania, Russia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, and the Ukraine, due to high levels of ATM fraud originating in these countries.
VISA Checking /Debit Cards :
Signature Based/VISA: Checking/Debit card transactions have been blocked with the VISA network in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Romania, Russia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, and the Ukraine.
ATM/Point of Sale (POS): Checking/Debit card transactions completed with a Personal Identification Number (PIN) have been blocked with the STAR and PLUS networks in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Canada, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Philippines, Romania, Russia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, and the Ukraine.
Note: Personal Identification Number (PIN) transactions completed at a VISA logo ATM are also blocked in India and Malaysia.
Visa credit card transactions are not blocked in any countries at this time.
TRAVEL TIPS:
• Please let us know when you plan to travel abroad.
• Make sure to keep your address and phone numbers updated with us so that we can contact you quickly.
• When traveling abroad, NEVER let your credit or checking card out of your sight when conducting transactions.
• Take great precautions to safeguard your cards when not in use.
* Bill Payment is FREE with ValuFirst or Premium Checking, Direct Deposit and a Vantage West Visa Checking card. It is also FREE with Student Advantage Checking and a Vantage West Visa Checking card. Otherwise, Bill Payment is $5.95 per month for the first 10 transactions and .75¢ for each additional transaction. Bill payment is subject to approval and is not an option for non transaction accounts i.e. (Regular Share Accounts, Premium Share Accounts, Premium Share IRAs and Share Certificates).
